Moving to Spain is about much more than moving house.

Costa Blanca North isn't one place. It's a collection of towns, villages, valleys, mountains and coastline, each with its own personality.

You may arrive convinced you want to live beside the sea and discover that life in a Spanish village ten minutes inland suits you perfectly.

Or perhaps being able to walk to restaurants matters more than having a swimming pool. Maybe you need schools nearby, space for dogs, room for visiting family — or somewhere the chickens won't upset the neighbours.

That's why we start with how you want to live, rather than simply asking how many bedrooms you need.

Then we'll help with the practical stuff.

Once you've found your home, there can be a surprisingly long list of things to organise.

Lawyers. NIE numbers. Banks. Mortgages. Currency exchange. Insurance. Utilities. Internet. Builders. Gardeners. Pool maintenance. Furniture. Removal companies.

We don't pretend to do all of those things ourselves.

What we can do is point you towards trusted independent professionals and local businesses, help you understand what happens next and, when you're completely baffled by something, help you work out who to ask.

Local knowledge doesn't stop at property.

Want to know which villages have a proper weekly market?

Where you can walk to a café in the morning?

Which areas are flat enough to cycle without regretting your life choices?

Where the nearest medical centre is?

Where to buy a sofa, find a plumber or get a decent Sunday lunch?
